A Norfolk Elopement Styled Shoot at Stables - Love, pizza and a Harley Davidson
Back in January, while exhibiting at a local wedding show, we were approached by Steven Harrowing Photography with a bold concept for a styled elopement shoot. As fate would have it, we’d already been dreaming up a shoot of our own, so when Steve shared his vision, it all just clicked. A creative match made in wedding-industry heaven!
A few months later, that vision came to life right here at Stables. Steve asked: What would an elopement look like if we stripped away the traditions and let loose a little, Norfolk style? The result? A playful, rebellious take on love, complete with container golf, heart-shaped sunglasses, a Harley Davidson, and just the right amount of chaos.
The Concept: Elopement, But Make It Edgy
Elopements are often imagined as serene mountain moments or windswept cliff-top vows. But why not inject some edge, attitude, and fun into the idea, right here in Norfolk? Stables became the perfect playground for a shoot celebrating love without the rules. Think: pizza in the car park, a wedding cake in bed, and a newly-married couple strutting across the zebra crossing like rockstars.
Steve used our quirky corners and bold backdrops to reimagine what an elopement could feel like: intimate, a little wild, full of laughter and late-night vibes. We even set up a bistro-style wedding breakfast by the car park (yes, really), and somehow, it looked effortlessly cool.

A Day Full of Laughter, Creativity and Collaboration
From zebra crossing portraits and Harley Davidson shots to lounging on the bed with cake and cocktails, this shoot was about more than the photos; it was about breaking the mould, embracing personality, and celebrating what makes each love story different.
We had so much fun hosting and being a part of this! The shoot was a true reminder of how magic happens when creative minds come together, and when couples aren’t afraid to do things their way. We can't wait for the next one!
