    HEAD OF EVENTS

“Hello! I have the fun job of leading the Stables events team. I've been at Ffolkes since the end of 2020 - I first stepped on board to set up and run Ffolkes Street Feast during COVID and have been here ever since. I previously also worked at our sister company, The Pigs in Edgefield, firstly in front of the house (2016) and then on the reception team (2020), so I have seen all sides of the business.

Outside of my time at The Pigs / Ffolkes, I completed an Events Management degree at Leeds Met University. Then worked at Earls Court & Olympia and Southbank Centre in London for the Commercial Events teams and finally spent a year working for an Event Agency in Sydney. My events experience has included conferences, dinners, product launches, and red-carpet events such as the BAFTAs and weddings nationally and internationally.

No day is the same at Stables; working in a company with so much freedom to run with your visions and ideas for the business is amazing. My passion is to create amazing experiences for people, no matter how big or small. I also love being in a people-facing role and building relationships with our lovely clients and suppliers.”

    Top Wedding Tip

“Take a moment to step away from your wedding day with your new wife / husband, a bottle of fizz (and even your photographer). The whole day is a busy blur and you will be so grateful for a moment with just the two of you to take a breath, raise a toast and celebrate.”

    Fun Fact

“I am a certified body balance teacher (much to my work pals disgust when I make them do circuits and yoga in Stables on a weekly basis). I will also take any opportunity to whip out my Australian accent at any given moment.”

    EVENTS MANAGER

“I started at the Ffolkes working in the pub in 2017 when I realised my passion was in the events side of our business, so I began to work the weddings to get a feel for it. I have since been the manager for five years and have now become part of the furniture at Stables, and I pride myself on making every event special to each individual booking. I love what I do and always try to exceed above and beyond to make any event special for you; whether it’s a party, wedding or corporate meeting, I will be there adding the final little wow factors to your day. I know every event is completely different to the next, so I always have something fun and exciting hidden up my sleeve.

I am a naughty ’90s baby who loves to quote a ‘friends’ meme and will always be the first on the dance floor if you need a little push with the party getting started (you will find me on the dancefloor during Cotton Eyed Joe). The most fun part is I am also a full-time mum to two little girlies; It’s a great help. They have such a wonderful nanny to help me to do what I love at work.”

    Top Wedding Tip
”Don’t stress over pleasing everyone else. Make sure that it’s your personalities that shine through on your wedding day. “

    Fun fact:
“When I was 18, I asked my dad for a car, “Ok Becky, what car?” so me being super excited, I replied, “A Pig-E-Ot” he laughed so much he couldn’t breathe because what I wanted, was a Peugeot. To my shame, I also wanted a 2-door because it was smaller than a 4-door. I have never lived this down, and still…… 10 years later, I get tortured for it. It was not my best moment, I can assure you!”

  • Georgie at Stables

    Georgie

    EVENTS COORDINATOR

“I am Georgina, the newest addition to our team at the Stables. Equipped with a degree in Event Management from Coventry University and boasting five years of hands-on industry experience, I am excited to contribute my knowledge and expertise to the team.

Throughout my event journey, I have embarked on exciting adventures that have shaped my expertise. I had the opportunity to serve as an Artist Liaison for prominent UK music festivals and assist at international conferences in South Africa, Spain, and London.

Driven by my passion for creating unforgettable memories, I have a keen eye for the smaller details that make a wedding day truly extraordinary. Working closely with couples, I ensure that their needs and dreams for the big day are met, leaving no stone unturned to make the event seamless and unforgettable.”

    Top Wedding Tip
”Stretch out the fun by making it a weekend affair. Have your guests arrive the day before and leave the day after. And don't forget to treat yourselves to a delightful dinner and drinks the night before, followed by a laid-back, leisurely brunch the day after. This way, you can truly savour every bit of love and joy with your nearest and dearest. Soak it all in, my friend!”

    Fun Fact
”I'm actually a certified paddleboard instructor at the Adventure Guide level! There's something about being near the sea that brings me an incredible sense of calm and endless inspiration. It's this deep connection that allows me to infuse a laid-back and peaceful atmosphere into the events I organise.”
